The Art of Dressing Up

An ongoing project started in 2010 & as the title states its about dressing up – we all do it no matter what the occasion, with some taking it to the extremes where they take on a persona and become the part they are playing. It makes for an interesting juxtaposition on life as to why we have this penchant for playing the dressing up game – quite simply when asked the question - why? - the reply's are - It's Fun, A Feel Good Factor, Escapism, Romance of an Era, Sense of Belonging, Historical & Traditions. Not just unique to the British - this is a worldwide phenomena with images having been taken at events across the globe.
