A little bit more about me - Fiona-Jane...

My tag line above basically sums me up in a nutshell, now for the rest...

I’ve always admired good storytelling; images are no different. My forte is a fusion of photographic styles, based around Editorial, Documentary & Lifestyle Photography.

Today it seems anyone can pick up a camera and call themselves a photographer. For me, it so much more than that, requiring technical aptitude, an eye for detail and creative flair to succeed as a professional. These I have in abundance - combined with a flexible, approachable, fun and friendly attitude towards creating a mutually beneficial photographer / client relationship all whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism.

My ethos - is unique to me, it's about Standing OUT from the Crowd, producing unparalleled imagery that not only looks amazing - its serves a purpose in driving your venture forward.

I’m all about collaboration...

Together we will bring all aspects of your ideas to fruition - Creating exclusive, innovative and individually tailored content and projects for you the discerning client.

The Other Bits ...

Through passion, commitment and work ethic I've gained over 35 years experience as a Freelance Photographer starting out when film was king. Though today, I mainly work with digital, on occasion I do turn my hand back to film with my bio pictures one such example of a little fun I had with this medium.

By nature I'm curious, always wanting to understand how something works, photography was no different when picking up my first film camera all those years ago - teaching myself the basic principles, constantly wanting to advance my knowledge and learn more.

As a result of this, I don't believe you ever stop learning, this mantra has seen me gain photography qualifications at City & Guilds Levels 1-3 receiving the highest accolade for each level and more recently (2019) I graduated with a BA Hons in Photography.
